My Story...

A Spiritual Awakening

My path was ignited at 16 when I met my first teacher, Ram Dass. His presence and teachings opened my eyes to a deeper way of living, rooted in unconditional love and mindful awareness. Through his guidance, I began to see that true freedom isn’t about escaping life but meeting it fully with presence and grace.
Later, I learned from many other respected teachers like Gangaji, Lama Surya Das, and Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, whose teachings on non-dual wisdom and Tibetan Buddhist Dzogchen continue to guide me. While these teachings enlightened me, I felt a deep conviction to make them more relatable, helpful, and accessible—not just for monks and scholars, but for everyday people navigating the challenges of modern life. This belief would soon be tested as life brought profound challenges that gave my learning new meaning.

From Simplicity to Struggle

After years of living in a remote eco-village surrounded by nature, simplicity, and a supportive community, I made the difficult choice to leave behind the cabin I had built and my vocation as a visual artist to move to Norway for love.
But the promise of a new beginning quickly unraveled. The relationship ended in divorce, leaving me a single parent to my newborn son. Chronic back pain interfered with work, and I took menial jobs to get by, giving up the art I had spent my life building. Living in a run-down city flat far from the nature I had loved, I struggled with the isolation of long winters, a new language, and the tragic death of my best friend back home. Overwhelmed by failure and loss, I hit rock bottom, longing to return to the life I had left behind.

A Turning Point

In this darkness, I made a pivotal choice: to stay, to face my challenges, and to turn my suffering into growth. Despite everything I had lost, I resolved to rebuild my life—not just for myself, but for my son.
I turned to mindfulness, compassion, and yoga—the practices that had carried me through so much before—but now with a new purpose. I began educating myself in their therapeutic applications, learning effective methods to heal my pain, anxiety, and depression. Through this process, I found a deeper connection to inner wisdom and discovered a more genuine source of self-compassion and happiness. Slowly, I began to heal, transforming my struggles into resilience and strength. This journey humbled me and taught me how to move beyond mere survival into thriving, ultimately creating a life that felt abundant and whole.

A Life Transformed

In 2014, I made a leap of faith and began teaching full-time, driven by a passion to share the practices that had transformed my life. Drawing on my own experiences of healing and growth, I offered mindfulness, compassion, and therapeutic yoga as practical methods for resilience and self-discovery. I pioneered the integration of Mindful Yoga into yoga studios, blending meditative and therapeutic approaches, and in 2018, I created Norway’s first Mindful Yoga Training through Oslo Yoga.
Over the years, I’ve witnessed how these teachings can help people find balance, clarity, and inner strength in their lives. Through teaching, I’ve come to understand that healing and balance are essential foundations for awakening to our true nature, opening the door to clarity, wisdom, and genuine happiness. These practices are not just about easing struggles—they are about connecting to a deeper source within.

Through these challenges, I’ve learned that healing and awakening are possible for anyone willing to take the journey. Today, I share these teachings with the hope of guiding you toward inner peace, clarity, and a more meaningful life
